I grew up right here in Rockingham County, attending Huntsville Elementary, Western Rockingham Middle, and Rockingham Early College, where I graduated with my high school diploma along with an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Science. I went on to earn my bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

My life experiences have given me a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing our communities. I worked across the Southeast in construction because well-paying opportunities at home were scarce. Eventually, I returned to Rockingham County to work in manufacturing and to be closer to my family, the people who have supported me at every step and helped me become the person I am today.

These experiences inspire my commitment to strengthening our local schools, growing our local economy, and supporting families across our region. I know what it is like to face challenges and overcome them, and I am dedicated to building a Rockingham County where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
