Kick-start your painting career today. Sign up for the Apprentice Track within the Painter Courses and lay a rock-solid foundation for your future in the trades.
The foundation you wish every job gave you on day one.
Instead of throwing you into the field and hoping you “figure it out,” our Apprentice Track breaks painting into manageable chunks — skills, systems, and mindset — so you can grow with confidence.
-
Foundational skills in one place — from tape-and-cover basics to clean cut lines, rolling systems, and proper cleanup.
-
Clear path to growth — move from beginner modules into advanced techniques and position courses at your own speed.
-
Boosted employability — show employers you’re serious with documented course completions and safety training.
-
Learn from working pros — this isn’t theory. It’s what actually works on residential, commercial, and cabinet jobs.
Stage-by-stage training for real-world painting work.
The Apprentice Track is part of a larger painter training system. You’ll move through stages, mini-courses, and position-specific training designed to match how real crews operate.
Tackle targeted skills like Paint/Stain Matching, Drywall & Wallpaper basics, and Cabinet Painting fundamentals. Each stage can be broken into 2–3 “mini” lessons so you’re never overwhelmed.
Move into position courses like Apprentice Painter, Prep Tech, and Painter-Experienced. From there, you can grow toward Crew Lead, Estimator, or even future management roles.
Apprentice Painter SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)
Below is a sample SOP used for the Apprentice Painter position inside our training system. It outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and best practices for new painters.

All volumes are designed for painters and painting companies. Each volume can be broken into stages, and each stage into smaller mini-courses, so you can learn in focused chunks instead of trying to swallow everything at once.
