Across five days, we will pass through three countries and some of Europe’s most storied terrain:
Arrive in Strasbourg and roll directly into the ride, crossing into Germany and weaving through vineyard roads and wooded valleys to reach Freiburg — the edge of the Black Forest.
~50 miles
A long, flowing day through the heart of the Black Forest, where dense woodland gives way to open horizons as we push south toward Switzerland and finish beside Lake Lucerne.
~95 miles
The high point of the journey. We climb into the Alps and take on the legendary Furkapass, a road etched into cycling folklore, before descending into Bellinzona.
A day defined by altitude, resolve and reward.
We leave Switzerland behind and enter Italy, skirting the edges of Lake Como before finishing in Bergamo, where this chapter of the journey draws to a close.
This ride is for experienced cyclists only.
Riders must be capable of covering up to 120 miles in mountainous terrain at a strong, consistent pace across consecutive days. This is not a leisure tour, it is a demanding, high-commitment journey through alpine landscapes.
It is also for those who believe movement can be meaningful: riders who want to combine physical challenge with collective purpose.
Each rider is required to raise a minimum of £1,000 for Global Helping Hands.
Full fundraising support will be provided, including:
Every donation goes directly to humanitarian aid in Gaza.
