The Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1 - Arrival in Bergamo

Book onto the 12:30 flight from Stansted to Bergamo, landing at 15:30.

From there, we take care of everything.

Transfers are organised for both riders and bike boxes, with bikes taken directly to a local workshop where our team will support you with builds and final checks. Smooth, stress-free, exactly how it should be.

If time allows, we’ll spin the legs on a short shakeout ride before heading into town for dinner.

An easy first evening - good food, good company, and the mountains waiting.

Day 2

Day 2 - Into the Mountains (Bergamo → Bormio via Mortirolo)

This is where it begins.

We roll out of Bergamo and head deep into the Alps, covering up to 100 miles en route to Bormio - our base for the next three nights.

Standing in the way? The Mortirolo.

Steep. Relentless. Iconic.

This is one of cycling’s true tests - and one you’ll never forget.

While you ride, we’ll handle luggage transfers so everything is waiting for you in Bormio. All you need to focus on is the road ahead.

Day 3

Day 3 - Choose Your Line

Wake up in the heart of the Alps.

From here, the options open up.

Today is about choice - distance, elevation, ambition. Whether you take on the full might of the Stelvio or build into it with a shorter route, every option delivers something special.

Big climbs. Endless switchbacks. Proper mountain riding.

Day 4

Day 4 - The Gavia & Beyond

Another day, another classic.

The Gavia brings a completely different feel - wilder, quieter, more raw. Narrow roads, high altitude, and views that make you stop mid-climb.

Like Day 3, routes can be adapted depending on how legs are feeling.

Go long. Go big. Or take it steady and soak it all in.

Day 5

Day 5 - The Return (Optional)

For those who want to finish it properly - we ride back.

Up to 100 miles back to Bergamo, with long, flowing descents through the valleys. A chance to empty the tank and close the trip out in style.

As always, luggage is transferred ahead.

Back in Bergamo, we’ll provide access to shower facilities before heading to the workshop to pack bikes away.

From there, it’s a short transfer to the airport for the 20:30 flight back to Stansted.

Summary

The Summary

Five days.
Three of the most iconic climbs in cycling - Stelvio, Mortirolo, Gavia.
Big miles. Bigger memories.

This is for you if:

  • You can comfortably ride 60–80 miles and back it up over multiple days
  • You’re ready to take on long climbs, 1–2 hours of steady effort, no shortcuts
  • You’ve got experience riding in a group and can handle yourself on the road
  • You want more than a casual ride, you’re here for the challenge
  • You value the journey as much as the destination

You’ll get the most out of this if:

  • You’ve been riding consistently in the months leading up
  • You’re open to pushing yourself, physically and mentally
  • You enjoy riding as part of a group, not just on your own
  • You trust the process, some days will feel hard, and that’s part of it

This may not be for you if:

  • You’re new to cycling or still building basic fitness
  • You haven’t ridden beyond short distances (20–30 miles)
  • You’re not comfortable with sustained climbing
  • You’re looking for a relaxed, café-style cycling holiday

The Bottom Line

If you’ve been looking at climbs like Stelvio, Mortirolo and Gavia and thinking

“one day…This is that day!”

How Hard Is This?

Registration

This is a demanding mountain trip, designed for riders with a solid base and experience of longer days on the bike.

  • Expect 5–8 hours in the saddle on the bigger days
  • Climbs lasting 1–2+ hours continuously
  • Back-to-back riding days, where fatigue builds
  • High mountain conditions, where weather can shift quickly

In simple terms:
If you’ve never climbed for over an hour, or ridden multiple long days in a row, this will be a step up.

How the Riding Works

This isn’t a fully guided, follow-the-leader ride, and that’s intentional.

You’ll be provided with carefully planned routes and GPX files, giving you everything you need to ride with confidence.

  • Riders will naturally form groups based on pace and ability
  • There will be key regroup points throughout each day
  • You’ll have the freedom to ride at your own rhythm within the structure of the day

Some days you’ll stick together.

Other moments, the climbs will spread things out, and you’ll come back together later.

What’s Expected

To get the most out of the trip, you should be:

  • Comfortable riding 60–80 miles
  • Confident on long, sustained climbs
  • Able to navigate using GPX
  • Happy managing your own pacing, fuelling, and effort

Support on the Road

While the riding is flexible, you won’t be on your own.

  • Shared routes and daily structure
  • Regroup points built in
  • A strong group dynamic throughout the week

You’ll be challenged, but you’ll be part of something.

From £675 per rider (shared room)
£950 per rider (solo room)
