Endurance Cycling Adventure

London–Paris–London

Four days. Two crossings. One line through it all.

This is a journey that takes you out of the city, across the Channel, into the heart of France — and back again under your own steam. Rolling out from London, reaching Paris, standing beneath the Eiffel Tower, then turning around and tracing a different path home.

Open to a range of riders, this is built for those ready to step up — you should be comfortable riding back-to-back 100 mile days. Beyond that, the experience is yours to shape.

A ride leader will be available throughout for those who want structure and support. For others, the road is open — push on, form groups, ride your own pace.

For riders looking to test themselves further, there’s also the opportunity to complete the Paris → London leg within 24 hours.

However you approach it, this is more than just distance.
It’s rhythm, resilience, and the simple idea of getting from one place to another — the long way round.

The Ride

Day 1 — London → Dieppe (approx. 65 miles + ferry)

We roll out of London late morning, heading south towards the coast. The route is rolling and honest from the off — a proper introduction to what’s ahead.

Riders will arrive in time to catch the 5pm ferry to Dieppe. Cabins are provided, giving everyone the chance to rest, shower and reset ahead of the days to come.

On arrival in France, we’ll spin the legs with a short ride to our hotel in Dieppe for the night.

Day 2 — Dieppe → Paris (approx. 115 miles)

The big one.

We follow large sections of the iconic Avenue Verte, linking quiet roads, cycle paths and classic French countryside as we make our way towards the capital.

It’s a long day in the saddle, but a rewarding one — with well-timed stops along the way at some of France’s finest bakeries to refuel properly.

We roll into Paris for an unforgettable finish, and the all-important photo at the Eiffel Tower.

Day 3 — Paris → Dieppe (approx. 110 miles)

A later start gives riders time to recover after a big day.

We take a different route back, cutting through the French countryside to keep things fresh and varied. Expect long, open roads, a steady rhythm, and more well-earned bakery stops along the way.

In Dieppe, we’ll grab food before boarding the overnight ferry back to the UK.

Cabins will be provided where available; otherwise, riders can rest in the lounge areas onboard.

Day 4 — Dieppe → London (approx. 65 miles)

We dock back in the UK early morning (approx. 5am), and roll out for the final stretch back to London.

The legs will feel it by now — but the job’s not done. One last push, back through familiar roads, finishing where we started.

How hard is this?

This is a demanding ride — but a very achievable one for the right rider.

Across four days, you’ll cover approximately 350–400 miles, with two back-to-back days of 100+ miles. The terrain is mostly rolling rather than mountainous, but the distance, consistency, and time in the saddle are what make this a challenge.

You should be comfortable riding 100 miles in a day, and more importantly, doing it again the following day.

Pace on the road will vary. Some riders will take it steady, making the most of café stops along the way, while others will push on and ride at a higher tempo. Naturally, groups will form based on pace, and you’ll find your rhythm within that.

A ride leader will be available throughout for those who want structure and support, but this is not a fully guided ride — riders are expected to be self-sufficient, manage their own pacing, and be comfortable riding independently when needed.

For those looking to take things further, there is the option to complete the Paris → London leg within 24 hours — a proper test for experienced riders.

If you’re consistent with your riding, comfortable with long days in the saddle, and ready for a challenge, you’ll be more than capable of taking this on.

What bike do I need?
A road bike in good working order is recommended. You should be confident riding it over long distances.

What happens if I can’t complete a stage?
Riders are expected to be self-sufficient. While we’ll always try to help where possible, participants should have a plan in place if they need to stop early.
