Two related chemistries, different strengths. LFP is our validated starting point. LMFP is the next development step.
Olivine LiFePO4
Phase-pure LFP/C has been produced on our Oslo lab line. It is thermally stable, cobalt-free, and cost-effective.
LiMnxFe1−xPO4
LMFP increases voltage and energy density versus LFP while remaining cobalt-free and nickel-free.
Reliable LFP production from recycled and secondary feedstocks is the hard part. Variable composition and impurities require process control from the start.
Recycled streams can carry contaminants that affect capacity and cycle life. We identify, characterise, and manage them as part of the synthesis route.
Reproducibility across variable feedstock batches is an industrial requirement. We test for it explicitly and build process controls around it.
Process decisions such as temperature, atmosphere, and precursor ratios are made with pilot-scale transfer in mind.
